Shop the Covered Passages
Experience what it was like for Parisians during the early 19th century when fortunes were up and the middle class was on the rise. On this 3-hour tour through some of the most beautiful and historic covered passages in Paris, you’ll trace the fall of the monarchy and the rise of the middle class, beginning at the Palais Royal with its amazing art-filled gardens and unique shops under the colonnades.
You’ll have time to explore with some special stops planned just for you. Afterwards, enjoy a stop at a neighbourhood bistro for a café or glass of wine and some excellent people-watching.
This tour can easily become a full day with the addition of another half-day tour. Every tour is tailored to your tastes and interests, with a free consultation.

Les Grand Magasins/ Department Stores
Let me show you the secrets of the Grands Magasins, aka department stores, of Paris!
The first department store was opened in Paris in 1838 and represented an entirely new way of shopping. With everything under one roof, the Bon Marche paved the way for the other department stores of Paris, including the Galeries Lafayettes, with its beautiful stained glass dome, Aux Printemps with its Art Nouveau style, and even the adorable Bazaar Hôtel de Ville, or BHV. This is a great way to maximize your shopping time in Paris.
Make this a full day with more shopping in the Golden Triangle along the glamorous Avenue Montaigne or a visit to another fashion exhibition.

6 hours 1-2 people €800
Each extra person €150 per person per 3 hour block - max 4 people

Flea Market Shopping
If you love the opportunity to shop at a market, this tour is for you. Discover the shops and vendors at the world’s largest flea market, the Puces de Saint Ouen, with furniture, vintage clothing, ceramics, antiques, and cameras; you’ll find everything you never knew you needed! Only open on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, the Marché has 14 different markets and over 1700 vendors, so having a knowledgeable guide is necessary. I can even help you get those items shipped home if you don’t have room in your suitcase for that chandelier.
Another overlooked flea market is the weekend market at the Portes de Vanves, which is Saturday and Sunday mornings only.
Paris is also famous for its fun street markets, brocantes, and sidewalk sales, where you can uncover some real gems. Brocantes can be any day of the week and are subject to change so it’s best to use your free consultation to see what’s on offer.
